MNPD: Nashville private school placed on lockdown for bomb threat

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Harpeth Hall School in Nashville was placed on a lockdown early Tuesday morning for a bomb threat that has since been deemed not credible, officials confirm.

The threat was made around 10:45 a.m. which prompted Metro Nashville Police Department to respond, the school says. Upon arrival, both authorities and the school’s security team found “no indication that this was a credible threat.”

“We are deeply grateful for the quick thinking and professionalism of our security team in following emergency protocols to protect our students,” Harpeth Hall School wrote in a statement. “We also want to thank the Metro Nashville Police Department for their immediate and decisive response in securing our campus.”…
