San Jose victim gunned down by ‘ruthless’ gang identified

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — Members of a “ruthless” street gang based in south Monterey County drove 90 miles to San Jose searching for rival gang members to kill, San Jose’s police chief said.

The group found a 27-year-old man, Alejandro Martinez Vasquez, on Loma Verde Drive January 11 and shot him to death, according to court documents obtained by KRON4 on Tuesday.
