DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Another former Frisch’s Big Boy location has been taken over by Dolly’s Burgers and Shakes.
If you travel around Ohio, you’re probably landed at a Frisch’s Big Boy. The restaurant chain is popular with travelers, and chances are you’ve been in one. But that’s changing in Ohio and parts of Kentucky, where Dolly’s Burgers and Shakes is taking over old Big Boy restaurants in places near Dayton and Cincinnati and across the border in Kentucky.
It’s a battle of the Big Boy name and two separate owners. The Big Boy Restaurant Group is taking over the former locations of Frisch’s Big Boy locations and calling them Dolly’s Burgers and Shakes, but with similar menu items…
