Higher prices hit Spokane boutiques due to new tariffs

SPOKANE, Wash. – Shoppers in Spokane may notice rising prices on clothing and merchandise due to imposed reciprocal tariffs on imported fabrics and textiles.

Victoria Ferro, owner of Audrey’s Boutique on Division, has already started seeing the impact on her store’s prices. “So it’s going to be a hit, a hit, a hit, and things are going to go up,” she said.

Ferro explained that it’s not just the finished clothing items that are affected but also all the components involved in manufacturing. “You’re looking at $20 to $30, if not more and I’m seeing it. I’m seeing gowns that normally would probably sell for about $250 to $275, are now at $300 to $325,” she stated…
