Honolulu Fire Department Extinguishes Wai‘anae Blaze, Two Hospitalized, Five Displaced

A fire in a Wai‘anae residential building was fully extinguished after quick action from the Honolulu Fire Department. The fire was reported via 911 at 5:34 p.m. last Saturday, and was responded to by 40 fire department personnel across 12 units, as reported by the Honolulu Fire Department.

Firefighters arrived at 5:39 p.m. at 85-125 Alawa Place to find a single-story building on fire.
