Chair that crushed dog at park was built by city

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) – Grand Rapids officials are now confirming that city employees built and installed makeshift chairs and a table in Garfield Park.

This after a chair, which was said to be at least 50 pounds, crushed a chihuahua to death over the weekend.

The city’s forestry division crafted the chairs, tables and other play structures out of discarded trees…
