PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Family Service of Rhode Island hosted its annual Victims Grove Ceremony at the Memorial Park in Providence on Wednesday.
According to FSRI officials, the event was held in honor of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week which is observed April 6 through 12.
“Every name remembered, every story shared, every life honored strengthens our collective call for justice and healing,” said Candace Johndrow, the vice President of FSRI’s Hope Division. “This ceremony not only reflects our community’s compassion, but also its resolve to stand with survivors and ensure their voices are heard.”
