AUSTIN, Texas — One person was injured early Wednesday morning in a shooting in East Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department (APD), officers responded to a call about a possible shooting at around 12:30 a.m. near East Cesar Chavez and San Marcos streets.
Once on scene, police said a victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment for a life-threatening gunshot wound. Their identity and status are unknown at this time…
