Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed an executive order on Wednesday with the goal to increase transparency and fiscal responsibility across Oklahoma’s state agencies

According to a news release issued by the governor’s office, Executive Order 2025-09 mandates all state agencies to submit detailed reports by April 15, 2025, outlining the use of independent contractors in place of full-time equivalent (FTE) employees.
