KSAT 12’s Courtney Friedman makes moves at the San Antonio TV station

More anchor shakeups are hitting San Antonio TV stations, with KSAT 12’s latest change just announced . The ABC-affiliate shared the promotion of anchor Courtney Friedman to the noon show. Friedman, who has been anchoring the weekend evening and nightly newscasts for the past six years, will move to a Monday through Friday schedule.

“I am beyond excited to move Monday through Friday, anchoring a strong show with people I love,” Friedman said in a social media post. “I’m honored to keep telling our KSAT viewers’ stories in yet another way! With weekends free for the first time in over six years, you might actually see me out with my family on a Saturday or Sunday! I can’t wait for this new chapter.”

Friedman, who joined KSAT in 2014, will be partnered with Stephanie Serna , who currently anchors the News at Noon newscast . The changes come weeks after KSAT 12 announced TV veteran Ernie Zuniga would be a permanent face on the anchor desk of Good Morning San Antonio
