4 University of Oregon students’ visas revoked by Homeland Security

EUGENE, Ore. — The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has revoked the visa status of four international students at the University of Oregon (UO) based on unspecified criminal charges, according to university officials.

“The university was not informed in advance and has not been given details about the nature of the criminal charges,” the University of Oregon said in a statement to KGW.

The students have been given 15 days to leave the country unless they have another legal pathway for remaining in the United States…
