LANE COUNTY, Ore. — Back on March 24, 2025, a Veneta man who traveled to Portland with the intention of meeting a 13-year-old girl was instead confronted by a group of private investigators dedicated to exposing child predators, according to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO), before fleeing the area.
LCSO says the man, identified as Andrew Page Bledsoe, had called a friend after leaving the area and reportedly told them that he was suicidal. LCSO received report of Bledsoe’s suicidal ideations but were unable to locate him.
While the incident in Portland didn’t result in criminal charges, LCSO says a detective with their Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force began investigating into Bledsoe and found “potential internet crimes spanning multiple jurisdictions in Oregon, across the United States, and internationally.”…
