Reports of smoke prompts evacuation at Miami Beach Senior High School

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Students and staff were safely evacuated Wednesday morning after smoke was reported inside a building at Miami Beach Senior High School, prompting a response from firefighters and police, authorities confirmed.

According to Miami Beach Fire Rescue, crews arrived at the school, located at 2231 Prairie Ave., just before 8 a.m., and found white light smoke coming from the second and third floors of Building 2.
