TOPEKA, Kan. (KCTV) – The number of measles cases in Kansas increased for the fourth straight week.
As of April 9, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment shows 32 measles cases in the state. All of the cases are located in a section of eight counties in the southwest part of the state.
Those counties are in gold in the following map that was provided by the department of health.
The cases breakdown like this:
- Morton
- 5 or fewer cases
- Stevens
- 7 cases
- Grant
- 5 or fewer cases
- Haskell
- 8 cases
- Finney
- 5 or fewer cases
- Gray
- 5 or fewer cases
- Ford
- 5 or fewer cases
- Kiowa
- 6 cases
