LANE COUNTY, Ore. — Around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Lane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence in the 6500 block of Canary Road south of Florence for a report of a dispute resulting in a stabbing.
“Despite responding ‘Code 3’ with lights and sirens, it took approximately 40 minutes for deputies to arrive due to limited staffing and distance from their previous calls,” LCSO stated.
