Reports suggest Prince Harry is unhappy with Meghan Markle’s use of their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in promoting her projects. While Meghan referenced the children in her Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” and subsequent interviews, they did not appear on screen. This reportedly followed Harry putting his foot down about their involvement.
Now, sources claim Harry is uncomfortable with Meghan invoking their children while promoting her lifestyle brand, formerly known as American Riviera Orchard. Royal editor Matt Wilkinson suggests Harry is “probably not overly happy” with this practice. Wilkinson stated on “A Right Royal Podcast” that Harry “would much rather his children were not seen,” citing concerns for their privacy, particularly regarding photographers outside of Montecito.
This difference in opinion reportedly stems from the couple’s contrasting upbringings. Harry is wary of media intrusion, while Meghan, raised in California, reportedly prefers a more public-facing lifestyle for her family.
Wilkinson noted Meghan’s previous statements about wanting a typical Californian lifestyle, including outings to the beach, and her reluctance to “hide them away.” This apparent clash highlights the ongoing tension between the couple’s desire for privacy and Meghan’s accustomed lifestyle.
