ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A busy Asheville street will have even more traffic challenges on April 10 and also April, as sections of it will be closed, according to a news release from the City of Asheville.
The Northbound lanes of McDowell Street will be closed for water valve, hydrant replacements and general system maintenance for the connection of new water infrastructure into the City of Asheville water system, the release said. The section closed will run from Asheville High School up to the tunnel, and it will be closed all day April 10 and part of the day on April 11, the city said.
