Bus shelter in Lancaster County removed amid safety, health concerns

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A bus shelter in Lancaster County was removed over health concerns, officials said.

Due to the concerns, Columbia Borough officials and police asked the South Central Transit Authority to remove the bus shelter, a SCTA spokesperson said in a statement Wednesday.

“SCTA has worked with the Columbia Boro and Police for decades regarding public transportation needs and service to residents,” the statement reads…
