Unaccompanied 9-year-old found in Baldwin County home with 3 Guatemalan citizens: FBI

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — An unaccompanied 9-year-old was found inside of a Baldwin County home Wednesday with three Guatemalan citizens that have previous orders of removal, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Mobile Division.

According to officials, there were no family members of the boy in the home — his parents are home in Guatemala.

The 9-year-old has been in Baldwin County for about three years and has not been attending any school, according to officials.

Officials said the boy did seem cared for and that he is now in the custody of the Department of Human Resources.
