Some parts of Mass. could get up to 3 inches of snow Thursday

Some parts of Massachusetts could get one to three inches of snow Thursday.

Some rain and accumulating wet snow is expected to hit the Berkshires late Thursday afternoon into the night. The higher elevations could see up to three inches. Lighter amounts will likely occur on the grassy surfaces in the valleys, the National Weather Service said.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for the area.

Snow could also hit cities and towns between Springfield and Worcester, the weather service warned. There is a small chance other parts of the state could see snow too, which is likely to turn into rain…
