As the city continues grappling with the aftermath of a severe storm, Carrollton’s clean-up operation steadily progresses as community members adhere to the set protocol for debris placement. According to a recent update from the City of Carrollton website, Republic Services has jumped in to support CrowderGulf with storm debris collection, having amassed 6,342 tons since the clean-up efforts began on March 20.
Residents must follow the placement guidelines to facilitate efficient pick-up, such as keeping storm and bulk debris in separate piles with at least a three-foot distance between them and avoiding placing debris near mailboxes, gas meters, or sprinkler lines. The update also advised against parking vehicles in front of the debris piles, which could result in missed collection.
