ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Beginning April 10, many roads will be partially closed for construction.
- April 10-11: Eastbound curb lane of Charles Street will be closed at 22nd Street for emergency repairs to the storm manhole.
- April 10-18: 19th Avenue will be closed between 17th Street and End of Road for sanitary sewer repairs.
- April 10-25: 22nd Avenue will be closed between 11th and 12th streets for sanitary sewer repairs.
- April 10-25: Halsted Road will be closed at the intersection of Riverside Street for sanitary sewer repairs.
Traffic control measures will be provided. All work and anticipated completion dates are dependent on weather.
Drivers are reminded to expect delays or consider finding an alternate route. As always,…..
