Tulsa to host 2026 National Main Street Conference, bringing $3M economic boost

TULSA, OKLA (KTUL) — Tulsa has been selected as the Host City for the 2026 National Main Street Conference.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the National Main Street Conference is expected to bring over 2,000 visitors to Tulsa with an estimated $3 million economic impact.

“Economic development is not done in a silo; it’s state partnering with communities, and that’s what makes the Main Street program so successful,” said Heather Turner, Deputy CEO of Commerce and Exective Director of CORE. “Our Main Street team helps communities create jobs and enhance quality of life. I can’t think of a better place to host the 2026 National Conference than Tulsa, especially since we will also be celebrating the centennial of Route 66.”…
