Upscale restaurant chain from Canada to open first Bay Area location at Valley Fair

( KRON ) — Another upscale sit-down restaurant is coming to the continuously-expanding Westfield Valley Fair. JOEY is opening its first Bay Area location at the Santa Clara mall this month, the restaurant announced Wednesday in a press release.

The grand opening will be at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 24.

JOEY will be located next to Mastro’s and across from the Apple Store by the South Valet portion of the mall on the Stevens Creek Boulevard side. Its menu encompasses a range of dishes from sushi, tacos, steaks, salads and pasta.

The restaurant has two floors across 14,500 square feet and can accommodate up to 435 guests, the press release said. The first floor will be the main dining area, and the second level features a private dining room and a second bar.
