Severe weather is front and center today and tonight across the Deep South & the Lower Tennessee Valley. The Storm Prediction Center has expanded the risk area across the Tennessee Valley & the Deep South. A “slight risk” or 15 percent chance covers many of the metro areas in the Deep South including Atlanta Georgia & Memphis Tennessee. The highest risk period will be this afternoon and tonight.
