Hatchet attack at Florida restaurant leaves man unconscious; suspect calls 911 on himself

JUPITER, Fla. (WPEC) — A man called the police on himself after hitting another man with a hatchet at a BurgerFi in Jupiter, causing the victim to lose consciousness and a large amount of blood.

The Jupiter Police Department (JPD) said that on Tuesday at 11:10 p.m., officers responded to a BurgerFi on Indiantown Road after a report from Bradley Amick, who claimed he had struck another man with a hatchet.

Upon arriving, police found the victim on the ground, unconscious and bleeding, with no clothes on and a significant pool of blood around him. Emergency services from Palm Beach Fire Rescue quickly arrived to assist the man…
