Illinois bill could ease driver’s license renewal for senior citizens

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WTVO) — Illinois state representatives are moving forward with a bill that would make it easier for senior citizens to renew their driver’s license.

The Road Safety and Fairness Act, drafted by Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias, would raise the age when seniors have to take a driving test to renew their license from age 79 to 87.
