JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Many residents have probably driven near or into a pothole while driving. But check this out: a massive sinkhole stretching the entire right side of Denver Street. The hole has sparked reactions from those living nearby.
Danial Hall lives right next to the sinkhole. He said, “Well, I mean, we got sewer gas and I almost drove into it twice. Once a night yesterday morning, I forgot about that. But somebody was riding in the car with me both times and warned me, so fortunately I didn’t drive in. If you drive into it, your car’s gone. That’s the end of it.”
Residents living right next to the sinkhole have reported the hole several times and they say still nothing has been done to fix it. It is currently blocked off by traffic cones…
