Good morning. Today, we are going to begin the day dry and calm. That won’t last however. We are just right at the edge of being impacted by a cold front. The cold front will be today’s weather maker and will bring a weak rain event into the area starting in the early afternoon. Since the cold front arrives in the afternoon, there is still enough heating through the morning to bring afternoon temps into the high 60’s and possibly even 70 in the Basin. The Coast is the first place to get hit by the front though, so maximum temps there will only be in the low 60’s. Clouds from the front should be heavy and widespread by 2pm and rainfall will begin shortly after.
