The Connecticut Huskies are coming off a dominant Final Four performance on their way to a national championship victory over Dawn Staley and the South Carolina Gamecocks, winning 82-59. The team was led by Paige Bueckers, Sarah Strong, and Azzi Fudd.
This marked the Huskies’ 12th national championship under head coach Geno Auriemma, a remarkable achievement that no other program in Division I college basketball, men’s or women’s, has been able to match.
