16-year-old boy charged in shooting at city park that left teen girl seriously injured, MPD says

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder after a shooting Thursday at a Memphis city park left a teen girl with serious injuries, police said.

Memphis Police (MPD) said the shooting stemmed from a fight between girls at Willow Park near Overton High School.
