2 arrested Tuesday after alleged methamphetamine sale in south Amarillo

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Two people were arrested on Tuesday during traffic stops after an alleged drug sale in south Amarillo, according to documents filed in Amarillo Federal Court.

According to court documents, both Brandi Lorraine Duncan and Noemi Paola Salazar were arrested on one count of “possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine” on Tuesday.

Court documents said law enforcement officials conducted surveillance on Duncan on Tuesday evening, during which time they allegedly witnessed Duncan and Salazar exchanging $6,000 for three pounds of methamphetamine.

Duncan was arrested during a later traffic stop for outstanding warrants and after bundles of alleged methamphetamine were found in the vehicle in which she was a passenger…
