Some cities will hang their hat on whatever they can to make it larger than life, and that couldn’t be more true in Texas. I mean, they don’t say “Everything is bigger in Texas” without a reason.

When you think about cities that hang their hat on being known for something particular or owning something, your brain goes to Shamrock, Texas as the official home of St. Patrick’s Day. They own it, and they should with a town name like that.
