Hundreds attend an ‘Accountability Session’ with Jackson Mayoral and City Council candidates

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Hundreds were in attendance at Greater Mount Bethel Church Thursday night representing more than 30 religious congregations and nonprofits for the first-ever Accountability Session by Working Together Jackson with Mayoral and City Council candidates.

The goals for the event were to present a renewed vision and plan for transforming Jackson, promote civility and compromise in public discourse, and secure commitments from candidates for Mayor and City Council to work with WTJ.
