36 more people got measles in Texas this week. These photos show what to watch for

At least 36 more people in Texas contracted measles this week, with the latest number of confirmed cases tied to this outbreak rising to 541 as of Friday, April 11.

The highly contagious virus kills 1 to 3 children out of every 1,000 cases. So far in Texas, the measles outbreak that began in January has killed two children in the South Plains region of western Texas and hospitalized a total of 56 people. All but 11 measles cases in the outbreak have been in unvaccinated people, mostly children.
