80 cats rescued from ‘unsanitary conditions’ in Twin Cities home

The Animal Humane Society is looking to rehome 80 cats after they were found neglected in a Twin Cities home.

In a Thursday email, the Animal Humane Society made an appeal for donations after the cats were found in “unsanitary conditions” and being cared for by an “overwhelmed individual.”

The Animal Humane Society said it initially expected to find 30 to 60 cats at the property, but instead encountered a total of 80 cats.

The cats are currently under the care of veterinary and behavior teams while the Animal Humane Society investigates the case…
