SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – The Shreveport Police Department is looking for two women wanted for reportedly scamming an elderly stroke victim.
After a thorough investigation, detectives have gotten warrants for Brittany Lopez and Jennifer Hutson. They’re both wanted for access device fraud. Police say they stole money from an elderly woman who was incapacitated due to a severe stroke.
Relatives of the victim first called police after noticing some suspicious withdrawals from the woman’s bank accounts while she was at a nursing home recovering from the stroke.
