SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Fire crews have rescued three hikers following two separate heat-related calls at the same mountain in Scottsdale on Friday.
The first rescue at Pinnacle Peak Park happened around 11:15 a.m. when technical rescue teams from Scottsdale, Phoenix and Glendale were dispatched to help two hikers on the trail. Scottsdale Fire officials say the hikers, aged 53 and 61, were both experiencing dehydration, weakness and general illness.
