KAILUA, Hawai’i (Island News) — A 30-year-old man was arrested Thursday morning in Kailua after allegedly stealing a tip jar from a local business and assaulting two employees who tried to stop him.
According to Honolulu police, the suspect took the tip jar and attempted to flee the scene. When two male employees, both in their 60s, confronted him, he allegedly became aggressive and assaulted them during the struggle.
