Porterville woman arrested in Kern County after stabbing and biting incident

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A woman was tracked down in Kern County and arrested for attempted murder on Friday, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

Leticia Salas, 37, was arrested under suspicion of attempted murder and felony assault April 11 when deputies located her in Kern County after fleeing the scene of a stabbing in Pixley, around 4:30 a.m.

The stabbing occurred in the 11300 block of Williams Avenue, according to sheriff’s deputies and the victim was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition.
