‘I am 100% in’: Pennsylvania treasurer targeting $2 billion in improper payments

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity is spearheading an initiative to recover $2 billion in improper payments, likening the effort to what Elon Musk is doing in Washington with DOGE.

“I always like to say that we’ve been doing DOGE before DOGE was cool,” Garrity said.
