Following the acquisition of 219 Big Lots stores by Henderson, North Carolina-based company Variety Wholesalers, reopening plans are underway.
A Thursday, April 10, news release from Variety Wholesalers announced that customers will experience “remodeled stores, a large selection of closeout deals and new merchandise categories, including apparel for the family and electronics” upon the reopening of Big Lots stores.
Openings are scheduled to take place in four waves beginning on the date of the news release, with future dates planned for May and June across eastern markets. All 219 locations purchased by Variety Wholesalers will eventually be reopened…
