TOOELE, Utah (KUTV) — A school bus driver was found to be at fault for rear-ending a truck in front of him. The driver of the truck had an expired license, a police report states.
Ehyvar Garcia, 46, was driving a Ford F-150 when he told police a semi-truck in front of him hit their brakes for a pedestrian crossing the street on March 25, just outside downtown Tooele. The crash was reported around 1:30 p.m. that afternoon when a school bus slammed into the back of Garcia’s truck.
Garcia was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. He was cited for having an expired license.

The school bus driver, Leroy Kobs, told police he could not stop in time before rear-ending Garcia’s pickup. Sheet metal in the back of the truck went through the right side of the windshield of the bus, but luckily did not hit anyone…
