A South Carolina woman saved her husband from a brutal alligator attack.
In a living community in Sun City, Hilton Head, S.C., for residents 55 years of age and older, Joe and Marian Roeser were tending to their garden when an eight-and-a-half-foot-long alligator struck Joe. Marian acted quickly, and fought off the aggressive alligator with a tomato stake.
