South Carolina man arrested for repeatedly calling 911 to get free rides to the hospital

A Sumter County, South Carolina, man was arrested this week after he repeatedly called 911 to get free rides to a hospital even though he didn’t need treatment.

James Mack, 35, is accused of calling for the emergency service, getting to the hospital and leaving without seeking medical help for two weeks prior to Monday, the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook.
