EAST BAY, Calif. – As part of its continued commitment to serve local communities, Walmart has announced it will remodel 122 stores in California this year – more than a third of all Walmart stores in the state. Among the first to unveil these major upgrades are two East Bay locations: the Walmart Supercenter in Antioch and the San Ramon Walmart Neighborhood Market, both of which celebrated grand re-openings this week.
The Antioch and San Ramon stores received extensive upgrades aimed at delivering a more seamless, customer first experience. These remodels reflect Walmart’s efforts to modernize its East Bay footprint while continuing to meet the evolving needs of local shoppers.
Across both stores, enhancements include refreshed interiors and exteriors, brighter lighting, improved signage and landscaping, and reconfigured layouts for easier navigation.
