LOCATION: 2501 Westridge St (Apt # 153)
- HPD units responded to an attempted burglary / home invasion with shots fired.
- Arriving units located one adult male deceased inside the apartment from gunshot wounds.
- It was reported the suspect/s made entry possibly through a window.
- The homeowner opened fired striking one of the suspects. Other suspects ran from the scene.
- The deceased suspect was armed.
- It is unknown if there was an exchange of gunfire at this time.
- Only the two homeowners were inside at the time of the home invasion. No charges on the homeowner at this time.
- Investigation is ongoing.
