One dead in motorcycle crash in Spartanburg

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – The Spartanburg Police Department reported that one person is dead following a motorcycle crash in Spartanburg.

At approximately 5:40 p.m., officers were called to the intersection of Camelot Drive and W. O. Ezell Blvd regarding a vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a SUV. According to authorities, the motorcycle was traveling into the city on W. O. Ezell Blvd toward Powell Mill Road, before colliding with the passenger’s side of the Ford Edge when the SUV entered the center of the roadway, causing the motorcyclist to be ejected from the motorcyclist.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital by EMS, where he succumbed to his injuries…
