One killed in Brooklyn Park crash; bystanders pull men from burning car

Motorists who came upon the scene of a fiery crash Saturday morning in Brooklyn Park may have saved a life.

According to police, the single-vehicle crash happened around 7:20 a.m. on Hwy. 252 at 80th Ave./Humboldt Ave. Police say bystanders “aided the occupants in getting out of the burning vehicle” before police and EMS arrived at the scene.

Two men were in the vehicle. One man was taken to a local hospital for care and his condition is unknown. The other man died at the scene…
