BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Police arrested one person on suspicion of drunken driving and issued multiple citations to unlicensed drivers during a checkpoint and saturation patrol held Friday in northwest Bakersfield.
A total of 960 vehicles were screened in the 900 block of Calloway Drive between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m., police said. Seven motorists were cited for driving while unlicensed and two for driving on a suspended license. Six vehicles were impounded, and three released to licensed drivers.
